The Out on Film Festival celebrated its 20th Anniversary during the 2007 Festival, which took place in October at the Landmark Midtown Arts Cinema and Theater Decatur. Since 1987, The Out on Film Festival has been produced by Image Film and Video, Inc. On May 23rd, Image Film and Video, Inc. announced they will be “stepping away as the main administrative arm of the festival in order to give year-round attention to its other longtime entity – The Atlanta Film Festival”(AJC). The Publishers of Carma Productions, Inc. are excited to announce their commitment to become one of the major players in the production of the festival! The Publishers, along with Theater Decatur, and other leaders in the GLBT community will begin to take ownership of the event beginning in 2008. The 2008 Out on Film Festival is scheduled for November 6th through 9th and will be held at Theater Decatur.
